Captain Raymond L. Irvin
is an eighteen-year veteran of the Sanford Police Department and holds a Master’s Degree in The College of Health and Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. During his career, he has served in multiple positions within the department and is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy class 265. Captain Irvin has been an active member of NOBLE for over ten years and is currently the Parliamentarian of the Central Florida Chapter. He is married to Ingrid Irvin, his life partner for over 20 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Rachael and Kayla. Captain Irvin’s passion in promoting unity and unbiased-based policing within the community, gives him the drive to forge relationships of trust between law enforcement and the citizens he is sworn to protect and serve. As Captain over Strategic Services of the Sanford Police Department, his “Top Down Model Approach” is reflected and stressed to the men and women that serve with him.
